My two kids and I took the day trip from Sedona to Grand Canyon in March this year. It was our first trip there, and we couldn't have found a better tour guide! Chris is a storehouse of knowledge about the area - be it the geography, the history or the flora and fauna of the region. His luxury vehicle was comfortable and fully stocked with water, gatorade, snacks... quite ideal for a family to take the tour. Not only that, Chris is lively company to have on such a tour - entertaining and informative. The lunch he gave us at a luxury hotel next to the canyon was surprisingly sumptuous and all included in his base fee. Quite delighted with the trip. Definitely recommended.

My son & I went on a private tour with Chris. Chris picked us up at our resort. The bus was immaculate. Chris’s knowledge of the area is amazing! He made the experience wonderful. Two days later my granddaughters joined us for a monument tour with Nina. Again, the service was beyond expectations! Nina was also a joy & so knowledgeable! I would recommend Grand Canyon Journeys to all. The tours will make your vacation a winner! Thank you Chris & Nina for helping to make our vacation so great!

Our family experienced a dawn till dusk sight seeing tour and adventure with tour guide Chris Kelly. We had 4 people in our party; the ratio was perfect for nonstop questions and answers…we are lifelong learners who like to not just see things but to learn about them too. Most people spend an average of 30mins at the Grand Canyon; we spent about 3 hours, hiking around the rim and visiting all its sites. Some of that time was with Chris and some on our own-it was a great balance. Chris has lived and worked in the Sedona tours business for years. Chris knows the area’s details and secrets -the information that only the well traveled, native residents know. He is a plethora of information and knowledge…thru history to present time of any subject-plants, animals, geology, plate techtonics, cultures, ask away! He planned all the details of our day trip for comfort; he avoided crowds and traffic, his vehicle is spacious, safe and comfotable, and he encourages and provides food and beverages along the way to keep everyone happy. Chris planned for our specific interests. He communicated the plan a day ahead after asking a few pointed questions. He advised clothing and footwear with the visits and weather in mind-thank goodness he texted the cold windy temps the night before or we wouldve been uncomfortable all day! Chris is the genuine article: a man with life experience, great moral chraracter, an entertaining humerous conversationalist, who went out of his way to satiate our desire for information and new experiences. We decided to eat at the Cameron Trading Post-he recommended the authentic Navajo Meals. Tastey great comfort food after a big day traveling! Warning -the flatbread is so addictive! He topped a great day off with an out of this world stop at the end of the day! Needless to say we were genuinely happy exhausted travelers thanks to you Chris! We will definitely be looking him up next time we are in Sedona!
