With over 4000 paintings, 31,000 drawings and 3000 sculptures dating from the Medieval and Renaissance era to the legendary artists of the twentieth century, the National Gallery of Art has something for all art lovers.

On your private tour, you will explore the West and East Buildings. The neoclassical West Building houses the older collections from the Renaissance to the Impressionists. We lodged a complaint yesterday. Our tour guide was late and not able to speak to the art or artists, with one or two exceptions. We paid 280 dollars and we wandered around from room to room. No mention not to miss museum highlights. When we asked about his credentials, he confirmed wasn’t an art expert.
