The Provo River is such a beautiful river float and High Country Adventure made it so much easier. Sure, it may seem a little pricey, but the convenience of having gear that works, isnāt gross and with lots of options makes it totally worth it. My favorite part of working with High Country Adventure? The ability to book for a group and then have each person pay separately online. Genius! Honestly, it made the whole trip headache free among my friends and I. I also loved the text message reminders and answers to my questions. I definitely recommend High a Country and will use again!
Parking: a dirt parking lot with lots of big lose rocks but there was plenty of it and it was free.
Bathrooms: this could be improved. Go before you arrive because they were horror show when we were there.
Check-in: super easy! Took maybe 2 min for the 7 of us. Everyone can sign a single release which helped.
The bus: an old school bus takes you to the top of the float, where you pick up your gear and go. Easy easy easy.
The tubes: two types, both durable and even at the end of the season, in a August, they were clean from mold and other dirt!
The adventure: stunning scenery but cold water. Go when the sun is out and itās hot. A few rapids made it feel like an adventure and the beautiful mountains and hawks made the whole day one to remember!
