We loved our guide. He was very attentive, friendly, and a great guide. The ride was pleasant. Very enjoyable. What we didn't like is the chaos before the ride. We arrived a half hour early. The parking lot was packed, and we were told to go a couple miles up the road to another parking lot where we would be bused back to Vivian Park. We did that, checked in with an employee at a shack, and waited for a bus. One did come. We loaded then waited. It was only a couple minutes before our scheduled time. I went out to ask the driver when were were leaving and he said soon. That was the end of what seemed like a moderately organized outlet. At Vivian Park, it was crazy. No one was there to guide us or give us any directions. We were on our own to ask around and figure it out. another bus ride later we got to spot where we would put in the river. Directions were given to the tube riders, but nothing was said to those going on a guided tour. Again, we were left to ourselves to wander around and figure out what was going on. The rafts arrived, guides came and took the other groups. Finally, one of the guides said he would take us, and we waited for oars to be brought from Vivian. It was like 96 degrees outside and at this point, my oldest son had too much sun. My husband took him back to a shuttle and waited to be taken back to the lot where our car was parked. Once we finally got into the water, it was fine and fun. But the process to get there, was chaotic at best. We asked our guide about it, and he said our experience was pretty typical of a Saturday.
