Wonderful thing to do on Day One of a trip to DC. Our guide Tom was knowledgeable, articulate and did a great job of making himself audible and understandable even though he was wearing a mask (impressive!). The half-day itinerary is a bit ambitious so we were very glad to have the flexibility to take something out in order to spend more time on the other things. We had our grandchildren with us, 10 and 8, so we dropped Arlington Cemetery (which to kids would just be dead people) and were very happy spending more time on the other monuments and memorials which were more interesting for the kids. Special thanks to the staff who responded very well to our desire to go inside thr Library of Congress. I told them that beforehand and they actually got us tickets! (Free, but required). Highly recommend that for anyone because the Library is extremely beautiful on the inside. (Warning: booster seats are not provided, so if you have little ones, bring your own. We used throw pillows from our hotel!)
