What To Expect

Umpqua Valley Wineries

If you choose a full day tour and want to taste bigger reds such as Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon you will be taken to the Roseburg area, which is about an hour south of Eugene.

Oregon Vine2Wine gave me and my wife a once in a lifetime tour of four wineries in the Roseburg area. We met the owners of Delfino, Hillcrest and Reustle Prayer Rock during our intimate tastings. It was amazing hearing their stories and getting treated like we are apart of their family. We learned about the unique terroir of the Umpqua Valley, got great food/wine pairing suggestions and now know many of the variables involved in wine making. If you like wine and you want to learn more about it I highly recomment this tour.

After looking forward to our wine excursion, we were not disappointed. It was a very full day and well planned. Kevin researched and chose wineries that were best suited for us. The transportation was very comfortable. We enjoyed our day touring the Umpqua Valley vineyards and wine area with Kevin who was knowledgeable and informative. Each winery visited was a unique experience that featured some delicious and new wines for tasting. Kevin’s passion and enthusiasm for the area and winemakers genuinely showed. We enjoyed fantastic Oregon wines and a memorable day! Best of all we had a great time.~ Dick and Beth

"The Oregon Vine2Wine tour was a fantastic behind-the-scenes look at the Oregon Pinot Noir industry. I spent the better part of a day visiting wineries, meeting winemakers, tasting juice three days from press, barrel tastings with a sommelier/winemaker and an extensive tour of two different AVA's. They were all a part of my day with tour guide Kevin Kayfez on a trip from Eugene to Portland. I found Kevin to be knowledgeable, pleasurable and very much enjoyed the time we spent together.
