What To Expect

14 Hands Winery

The inspiration for 14 Hands wines recalls a time when wild mustangs once freely roamed the hills of eastern Washington State. These small horses measuring a scant fourteen hands high - a "hand" being equivalent to a man's palm width approximately four inches - would travel down the hills every day to drink from the Columbia River and graze along the riverbank and then retreat back to the hills at night. Strong and tenacious these little horses became known for their endurance and wild spirit. This unique and beautiful landscape gave these unbridled horses their spirt and tenacity that now feeds our vines. With loamy-sand and gravel soils these hills require a strong and determined grapevine resulting in big bold juicy red wines and crisp fruit-forward white wines.

Airfield Estates Winery

Airfield Estates is a family owned winery. Since 1968 the family has grown premium wine grapes. Their 800 acre estate vineyard includes 26 varieties. They sell grapes to top wineries in Washington and now make wines under the Airfield Estates label.

Alexandria Nicole Cellars

Alexandria Nicole Cellars planted their estate vineyard Destiny Ridge in 1998 in Horse Heaven Hills. Acclaim for the fruit grew rapidly and in 2001 they too began making award winning wines. Join them to learn about their love story while enjoying a relaxing wine tasting experience there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Anelare Winery

Anelare is a family owned limited production winery. Offering premium wine to club members and newcomers to seek. Open to the public for tasting. Tasting room available for personal and business functions. Hours: Thursday - Monday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. or by appointment. View Red Mountain from our backyard!

Badger Mountain Vineyard

Visit Washington's first organic wine estate. Surrounded by 75 acres of certified organic vineyard Badger Mountain and Powers Winery offer wine sampling in a relaxed country setting. Tasting Room and picnic area open daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Col Solare Winery

A joint venture between Washington's Chateau Ste. Michelle and Marchesi Antinori of Italy Col Solare unites these two unique viticulture and winemaking cultures to produce a Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the very best grapes of the Columbia Valley. Col Solare's Red Mountain estate winery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Desert Wind Winery, Restaurant, Inn & Event Center

A family-owned and operated winery dedicated to limited production handcrafted wines from select estate-grown grapes. The Monson family has farmed in the Columbia Valley for four decades and are known for their commitment to quality.
