Lamar Valley

This tour is customizable! During the winter months this tour will only cover the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. The Northern range is a wonderful place to view wildlife such as Wolves, Bison, Foxes, Coyotes, Deer, Elk, Otters, Eagles, and much more! During the summer the Northern Range is a wonderful place to see all the animals listed above with the addition of Grizzly and Black Bears!

My favorite part of our tour was the waterfalls AND the bisons. But my really favorite part was Nolan!

What an amazing adventure! My family has always been the do-it-yourself National Park type, but when the north entrance was closed because of floods, tours were the only option. This trip changed my perspective on tours. Nolan showed us so many amazing things and we didn't have to stumble our way through it. From wolves, bison in rut, the Ledge Geyser in its steam phase, and Mammoth Springs to ourself first thing in the morning, he exceeded our expectation by miles. We would highly recommend to them to anyone headed to Yellowstone.

Our trip with Yellowstone Journey was fantastic and is something we would easily do again. Nolan, truly made it special and made us all feel very comfortable and welcome. Nolan focused the tour on the aspects of the park that we were interested in, while also making sure we saw a wide variety of features the northern loop has to offer. We had three generations on our tour (from 2 - 65) and everyone had a good time. His vast knowledge of the park and more importantly his passion sets him apart.
