Our private group had an exceptional time with John in Yellowstone! He picked us up early at our Airbnb in Island Park, and the van was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of snacks. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife, he was a joy to spend the day with. John showed us several spots most tourists don’t know about, and he planned our timing to Old Faithful perfectly where we had a nice lunch on the patio. He gave us recommendations for other areas to visit in Yellowstone, and the best time of day to go, for when our group went the next day. Our group was supposed to have a tour in the Tetons as well but there was a hiccup in the company’s scheduling. Adam refunded us immediately and gave us recommendations for places to visit in the Tetons (which John has also given us while we were with him in Yellowstone). The highlight of our trip was our time with John, and we would highly recommend a private tour- it is worth the investment!

We are a family of 4 (with 2 teenage girls - age 13 & 15). We were looking forward to a tour of the south loop of Yellowstone. John was our tour guide and was fantastic! He was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. A highlight was seeing a buffalo herd in Hayden and they passed right by us in the car on the road! Great pics/video. John came prepared with binoculars and a scope and he was able to spot a wolf in Hayden as well. We watched as the wolf made his way across Hayden Valley - what a treat! We also got amazing pictures of elk (close up), a swan and bald eagles. We visited the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Old Faithful Geyser and the historic Old Faithful Inn. We got amazing pictures of The Grand Prismatic Spring. John was great about taking pics of the family and knew all the best spots/angles for the best pics. We had a great time as a family and would highly recommend!
