What To Expect

Yellowstone National Park

Departing Jackson Hole, WY we will drive north through Grand Teton National Park and explore the lower loop of Yellowstone. See park highlights based on guests' interests. Options include: Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Overlook, Yellowstone Falls and other amazing highlights of the lower loop.

Our trip with Aaron from Rapid City - Big Horn Mountains- Cody- Yellowstone- Grand Tetons- and finally Pinedale—was terrific- far exceeded our high expectations. It was our first trip to this part of the country and he made this trip memorable, a tremendous, knowledgeable guide. When we go again, not if— he would be the first call I would make for a great experience.

Probably the best tour that we have ever been on! My family (me, my wife and two sons (11 &12)) booked a private 2 day tour with Aaron. I had reached out to Aaron asking his advice on how we should set up our tour. He let me know the advantages of booking a two day tour and fortunately that is what we decided to do. This was our first time spending more than one day with a tour guide, which we were a little concerned about, but Aaron was awesome. We started out tour from Jackson at 6:30am and got back the next evening at 7:00pm. On the way to/from Yellowstone we stopped at a couple spots in Teton which were beautiful. In Yellowstone we did as much as anyone could do in two days. Aaron was able to show us sites that we would have missed and expertly navigated the crowds. We spent the night in Cooke City MT which I highly recommend. It is an interesting place to visit and we actually had a really good dinner there. During our visit we saw bison, pronghorn, mule deer, coyotes, beaver, mountain goat, bear and even a wolf. Aaron had a telescope with a phone attachment that allowed us to get close up pictures of the animals and a video of the wolf. He also had numerous high quality binoculars for the family. Aaron really loves what he does and it comes through in his tour. Everything is well planned and thought out. He even made sure that we had properly spaced out running water toilets and the picnic lunches were delicious. I suggest that you don't limit his tours to just the Tetons and Yellowstone. He spoke about customized multi-day tours that can cover from South Dakota to Utah. All in all I can't remend Aaron enough and we are looking forward to our next visit!
