Private Yellowstone Tour: ICONIC Sites, Wildlife, Family Friendly Hikes + lunch

Overview
The park is empty since the flooding! The flooding caused zero changes to the tours that we have always operated! We will see all of the parks highlights and Iconic sites plus hidden areas! Seize the moment and come to Yellowstone during an all time low in tourism!

Our private tours are led by professional guides who have a formal education in wildlife biology. We will tour the park in modern chevy suburbans. We will see wildlife while visiting the most ICONIC destinations as well as hidden locations. During our day we will see Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls (308'), wildlife, large waterfalls, hidden geysers, and historic hotels. We will provide high end binoculars and spotting scopes for the entire group! It is our goal to educate your family on the science of the park and have them experience the wonder of hidden Yellowstone on each and every tour.

For lunch we will stop for an incredibly scenic picnic style lunch along the shore of Yellowstone Lake!

It's located on the eastern side of the park. From several vantage points, you can view Lower Falls plunging steeply into the canyon 308 feet, or the Upper Falls tumbling 109 feet.

Along this short walk you will see very good examples of most types of thermal features found in Yellowstone. These features include some very pretty hot pools, steaming fumaroles, erupting geysers and probably the best easily accessed mudpots in the park. The area is highly active and at least one geyser is usually erupting here at all times.

Derek with Yellowstone Adventure Tours was very knowledgeable about the history, science and animals of Yellowstone.(helpful that he majored in Environmental Science) Even after doing a lot of reading and research, there is no way my husband and I could have understood and appreciated the area as much without this private tour. Truly once in a lifetime experience Derek is also very personable but not intrusive. Great about knowing how to avoid the traffic and people while getting you to the best spots. He truly gave the trip a lot more meaning! Thank you , Derek for a great day? Hope to come do the Upper Loop sometime.

This was our first time in Yellowstone. We only knew what we had read. We decided to go with a private tour for the first full day in Yellowstone. We hit the lottery as far as guides go. Steve was great. Tailored the tour to what we wanted to see. Hit all the highlights perfectly. He also gave us suggestions on how to spend the remainder of the trip and where to go and when! It could not have gone any better and my family and I were very happy with the decision to take this tour! Steve was a walking/talking history lesson of the park! Would absolutely do it again!

We had a family of four private tour of lthree areas of Yellowstone in June 2019, and we had a wonderful experience. Our guide Steve was incredibly experienced and very knowledgeable about each of the areas we visited and shared insight and information about everything we encountered. Steve assessed our capabilities and paced our group well, we have two 48 year olds and an 18 and 20 year old in our group. We hiked to Grand Prismatic for terrific pictures with a great backdrop, we hiked to Fairy Falls at a comfortable place and had a great opportunity to capture some great images. Later in the day we we went to Old Faithful and enjoyed a satisfying lunch on the terrace overlooking the area. The best part was taking a hike off the usual paths to Sulfur Mountain and experiencing not only a wonderful hike and unique landscapes but witnessing a large adult grizzly bear with his kill of an elk on our way out toward the trailhead. Steve kept us all safe and informed the entire trip, his preparation and professionalism are top notch. On our trip we witnessed wildlife of elk, bison and grizzly bear as well as hearing wolves communicating with each other. I look forward to our next trip with Yellowstone Adventure Tours, I recommend them with complete confidence.
