Privately Guided Full Day Hike

Overview

Choose your own adventure! You pick the distance (6-10 miles on average), terrain, scenery, and difficulty for a spectacular day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Abundant waterfalls, the highest peaks east of the Mississippi, and the prettiest views you'll find in the South are all at your disposal off the Blue Ridge Parkway, on the Appalachian Trail, or hidden deep Pisgah National Forest.

Price includes your guide and a picnic lunch; please specify dietary restrictions when booking. Trekking poles are provided upon request. Transportation is not included, but can be added for an additional fee (depending on availability).

We hike rain or shine! We will cancel the hike in the event of dangerous weather.

Blue Ridge Hiking Company has been in business for 13 years; we believe the trail is there for everyone at every phase of life. All guides are certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR, and knowledgeable in local history, flora, and fauna. Check out our website for more information!

We had a great day doing a guided waterfall hike of Graveyard Fields. Jennifer was very friendly. good with kids and navigated our way through a fairly difficult trail! Would use again!

This was a fantastic activity to participate in during our stay in Asheville. Christine and Blueridge Hiking were great! We had a bit of a schedule change and they were very accommodating to meet our request to change days. They communicated well and their responses were timely. The 4 hour guided hike was amazing, Christine was knowledgeable and very personable, she provided great background on a the foliage and fauna during the hike and she was cognizant about asking if we needed a break or needed to snow down. The blueridge mountains were beautiful and she took us on a hike that allowed us to see the waterfalls as well as sweeping views of the surrounding area. Would highly recommend this hike.

We took a guided waterfall Tour with Lindsay for our first day in north carolina and had a beautiful day! Lindsay was so knowledgeable about all the different hikes and tailored the day around our comfort level. We saw the waterfalls and she made sure we were all OK the whole trip. She even height snacks too! Would highly recommend blue ridge hiking tours.
