The Strand

A vast array of information from 1900, ‘The Great Storm’ to modern day flood damaged trees that have been carved into works of art.

Great tour of historic district and learned a lot about Galveston history! Loved the carriage ride too!

Highly recommend! The carriage tour was so fun and informative! We saw many beautiful historic homes, buildings, and sculptures. Our guide was awesome! We went after dark. I would recommend maybe evening time when it’s cooler but still daylight.

Dana and Lily the Horse are AMAZING tour guides! Dana is so knowledgeable about the history of Galveston and that accent!! We were so entertained by not only her sweet voice, but also from all of the historical stories and sites of Galveston! Definitely recommend to all ages! We had a FANTASTIC experience!
