Join us for a unique exploration of Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful coral reefs, home to over 500 different species of fish. With the reef so close, we don’t need a boat! The incredible reef we explore is only 400 feet from the shoreline which is where we launch. After a short swim, you will be face to face with many tropical species such as Angelfish, Butterfly fish, Tangs, and other reef life! Fort Lauderdale's reefs won't be here forever so make sure you see them before they are gone!

We had an amazing time. We had 2 swimmers who were a little nervous about the swim but Tyler’s expertise made them feel at ease throughout the trip. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable about the reef, surrounding history, and wildlife we saw and that was much appreciated. Most importantly, Tyler was kind and clearly cared about the reef and everyone’s safety. While we were looking at the coral, we saw a scuba diver down there touching the reef and he dove down to signal the diver to come up to talk. When the diver came up, Tyler explained that touching the coral will damage it and told the diver not to do it. Tyler also saw another person in another unrelated snorkeling group who was struggling to swim and made sure he was ok. Tyler did not have to do either of these things because at the time he only had an obligation to us, but he is clearly invested in the water safety and protecting the reef and I appreciated seeing that. When we come back to Pompano Beach, I hope to do snorkeling again with him!
