McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square
This elegant building was originally the First Baptist Church of Charlotte and served church-goers for over 70 years. After converting to a performing arts theatre, the area became known as the Bermuda Triangle and has seen a fair share of ghostly sightings between the buildings.

Sumi was great! A silly tour but with the big group it made it really fun. Iā€™m glad I did it! Great way to get out and just see the city

This was not a bad ghost tour by any means, our guide was very sweet and had a lot of interesting tales to share with us. *This review does not reflect the guide at all, just the tour in general.* We had never been to Charlotte before so I thought this would be fun because I know itā€™s a historic town and probably full of great stories, but apparently most of the historic homes and buildings have been removed to make way for the big city center they have in uptown. Kind of kills the spooky vibe when youā€™re standing next to a giant Bank of America building and fighting to hear the stories over heavy street traffic. Our group was also approached by many people without homes and at one point completely interrupted by one random man who took over talking to our group and used very threatening language. All in all my husband and I did have a good time but will probably skip ghost tours all together if we ever visit Charlotte again.
