What you see in Real Pirates is an authentic true story of the riches pirate ever Sam Bellamy. You will see real pirate artifacts and treasure. You will also see parts of the real shipwreck of the Whydah, his famed pirate ship. You will get a small group tour of the museum with one of our directors or docents.

This Museum was above my expectations. Very informative and the curator went above and beyond to make the group's experience great. It was a lot to learn especially about things in our own backyard. It was totally worth it. I would truly recommend this to visitors coming to Salem especially at Halloween. This is definitely a place for schools to get a good education and they'll come out in awe. I hope to get the rest of my group & some re-peat people to go to this again. I'm sure if you go back, there will have been things you missed

We took the Director’s Tour with Jason. He was very knowledgeable and kept it interesting. I was thrilled with the entire tour, and Jason had an awesome outfit on as a Pirate. I would recommend this tour. Great job JASON!!!

Jason, our tour guide was excellent!!! He is very knowledgeable about Black Sam Bellamy and his escapades. We've been to other pirate exhibits, and they did not compare to this interactive experience. We are so glad we took the time to learn about this shipwreck and its treasures. A big thank you to Jackie for suggesting it.
