I loved this museum! I honestly liked it better than the witch museum we weren't too. All the artifacts were right from the water, not replicas! The treasure room was really amazing, but honestly, it all was really cool. Worth every penny! I'm excited to go back!

This is the true story of the pirate ship Wydah that sank during a hurricane. It remained under the ocean until recently when it was discovered. Along with tons of amazing artifacts they also found pirate treasure which is the only such treasure to be authenticated. It was so much fun walking through the exhibits and reading about the history of this ship. Pictures are allowed everywhere except the treasure room but I see from a few reviews on here that a few people may have snuck some pictures anyway.... we had an absolute blast and I highly recommend this to anyone coming to Salem. It's definitely a nice break from the witch history.

Thinking it was going to be cartoonish I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing artifacts and history of this place. What a literal treasure trove of things. Loved the story and want to continue to follow the journey of this treasure hunt of the Whydah.
