What To Expect

Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center

Stop off at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center to check out the exhibits and gift shop for souvenirs. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see Mojave Max, the Desert Tortoise!

Calico Hills

The kaleidoscopic colors of Calico Hills are next. Watch the hillsides for a display of pinks, oranges and reds that change throughout the day. Your expert guide can also point out the natural tanks that store water in the hills, along with ancient plants and animals preserved in the layers of ancient dunes.

Willow Spring

Stop by Willow Springs after your off-roading adventure to see the roasting pit and pictographs from the past. Your guide will talk about the native history of the area and can take some photos!

Our tour guide was Ken. He was very animated and knowledgeable. You could tell he loved doing this. He explained the different cactuses and some history behind each. He took us to some great photo ops. The off road Rocky Gap section was a lot of fun. Would highly recommend this tour instead if you were thinking of doing the scenic loop

Excellent tour of the Red Rock Canyon with the family. We chose the off-road version of the tour and it was the right decision because you really do get the off-road experience in an open air jeep. Our Tour Guide and Driver was Jack who was really friendly and looked after us all very well, nothing was too much trouble. He was also really informative with regards the conservation area, but the jokes were bad! We all had a really fun and informative experience and would recommend this as a chance to get away from the bright lights of the strip for a while and get back to nature.
