Red Rock Slot Canyon

Overview

Come explore some of Southern Utah's most unique slot canyons!
This tour begins with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, which is privately accessed and far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 -feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through.

Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information.

This tour is specific for groups that do not desire to climb, and when the canyon gets too difficult the group will hike back to the UTV and travel to a separate slot canyon and explore the bottom section of it as well.

Very fun and informative 2 hrs visiting the Canyon slots. Taut, our guide, answered all our questions and took photos for us so we have some great memories. Very low impact and any age can do it.

We had a real blast with Lonnie. He's fun and knowledgeable, and drives the jeep like a demon (in a good way haha!). The canyons we visited are stunning. And we were lucky enough to see deer and wild turkeys. We were staying in St George so it was a bit of a drive but it was worth it - very different experience to the stuff we did in Zion national park itself. Beware, in October it is COLD first thing in the morning. Winter clothes, hats, gloves, required.

It was our first time touring a slot canyon and it was absolutely breathtaking! Our guide was friendly and knowledgable. Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in having an amazing adventure.
