Most people will tell you that the Burying Point Cemetery is the most haunted cemetery in Salem - and it would be hard for us to to disagree. The Burying Point Cemetery is a popular stop on guided ghost tours in Salem. You'll hear about the history of the cemetery, its connections to the Witch Trials, and the stories of the ghosts which are said to haunt it.

The tour was ok. It could’ve been better if we had been able to hear what was said. There were about 80-90 people there when we arrived and we were split into two groups, but it was still too many. We could not get close enough to hear anything. The guide said they were not allowed to have microphones, however all the other tour guides around us did, which drowned out his voice even more. We were hoping to tour some places, but that didn’t happen. We just stood in front of a few spots and heard stories about “reports of strange occurrences” from other people. Not what we expected.

Elizabeth was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable . She kept us engaged and allowed us to take photos. We did not feel rushed!!! We would recommend her again. Mother daughter trip was a success!!!
