We had friends who did an all-day with Far Flung. We didn't have time so the four of us did the Racecourse. It was the perfect introduction to the Rio Grande. This wasn't technically difficult. If you haven't done white water rafting, you'll gain a perspective of what the challenge on a Cat 5 rapid would be. This is not Cat 5. But it is a great introduction. I've been a couple of other places river rafting. This experience is as good or better. Part of what made the trip good was Wild Bill. Ask for him. He has great knowledge. He explains things in plain language, never curt. He helped the folks in the "funyaks" I can't wait to go back and do more of the river.

I did the saddle and paddle. The lunch was fabulous. It was a real meal. The rafting trip was amazing! The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The River was gorgeous. Participating by paddling, rather than just floating along for the ride was exhilarating! The trip length was just right. The saddle portion....not so much....
