We came to New Mexico to visit friends and they booked us a half day rafting trip! To be honest I was a BIT nervous because Ive never done anything like that! BUT ....I had SO much fun! What a great way to cool off in the heat of August! Our guide Sidney was THE BEST...perfect mix of FUN and professional..she truly KNOWS how to handle the raft AND the rapids! We were all SO glad we went and felt so safe! Thanks Sid..and if you are ever in Tombstone Arizona...say hello!

Rafting the Rio Grande was one of the highlights of our time in Taos. We were lucky to have Evan as our guide. He gave us an educational safety talk before we started which was a big help. We had an early morning time which was great for us. We had the river to ourselves. Scenery and wildlife were a bonus.

Had a blast on this trip. It was shorter than I expected, but lots of class 3 rapids made up for it! Brian was a great guide and not only navigated us down the river, but also gave us some good insight regarding the history of the area. We will definitely be back and ready to do the full day trip up to the Box! Thanks again Far Flung!
