River Tubing & Kayaking

Overview

Spend the afternoon floating along the beautiful Waccamaw River on an inflatable river tube or kayak. Bring some food and drinks (or grab some from our Snack Shack) to take with you on your trip to explore the river. Pull over on one of the white sandy beaches to enjoy some fun in the sun and take a dip in the refreshing cool river.

When you arrive at our Outpost you will find:
- Fun and games: enjoy our unique super sized yard games: Jenga, Connect 4, Corn Hole and more.
- Amenities: 4 restrooms, 4 changing rooms with hot showers, hammocks, swings, large fire pit, picnic tables and propane grills that are available for you to use.

Your reservation time will be from 2 pm - 5 pm, feel free to enjoy the full 3 hours on the river and at our facility or arrive anytime during those hours but keep in mind we do close at 5 pm.

What To Expect

North Myrtle Beach

Guests float down to River Island to explore and relax. It is our 48 acre island located a half mile down river from our Outpost. We pick you up by boat and bring you back to our outpost.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We bought a day pass and did the tubing trip, the kayaking trip, played on the water pads, and played big Jenga and yard games. The staff is wonderful. We had a great time. One suggestion I have- the tubing trip is only 20-30 mins long and then you take a pontoon boat back, so don’t waste your money on a cooler tube. The tubes have cup holders, so just take a drink or two with you and save the $10 on the cooler tube. Altogether, great trip and I definitely recommend.

My daughter, Krystal Beck came in for the weekend for a few family events. Instead of doing the usual, we decided to go check a new place for the day. Fabulous time, staff was amazing and the scenery outstanding! Hard to believe this place was only 7 miles from ocean front. Want to try something different? River Island Adventures is a sweet place to hang. All day pass gets you access to kayaks, tubing, life size games, huge fire pit, grills plus they have a small island where you can participate in survivor and amazing race games! We both spent a lot of time in the hammock chairs on the river banks. So beautiful and peaceful

Jeff, the owner, was very helpful and accomadting of our group. Everyone had such a great time floating, kayaking, playing on the equipment provided at the outpost. We already have pllans to go back in a few weeks to do it again, only this time we will be adding Survive Escape Island! We are all so excited to go back. We went with 7 families with kids ranging from 6 to 18, and not a one wass bored or asked to play on Fort Night or their phones!
