Booking this over similar tours has advantages. There is one person/guide, you know who you are getting as a guide. It is the same guide the other reviews are about. We went to some places where nobody else was there, and they were great spots. We had the flexibility to stay at a place however long we wanted. We didn’t have to wait for people we know or leave a place so we could go onto the next spot if we didn’t want to. We also got some treats places that had lines. But we went and enjoyed the scenery while our guide navigated the lines.

We had a fun day! Our tour guide, Alec, picked us up at our hotel in his really nice jeep at 7 AM. The road to Hana has lots of curves so we're glad Alec drove so that we could look around at the views of the ocean and the waterfalls. First stop was getting banana bread to eat along the way. Then on to the bamboo forest. Very interesting. We took a hike to a waterfall. Alec will use your camera and take lots of pictures. Lots of waterfalls to see. We saw a black sand beach, beautiful views of the ocean, stopped for a nice lunch, and also Alec is full of interesting historical facts about Maui. Alec went out of his way to take pictures of us at many waterfalls. So we are glad we did it and highly recommend it!

Can not say enough, was a great time. Second time we used him and did not disappoint. He knows all the secret places. Well worth it!
