Overview

A fun day of driving through, and playing in, the tropical rainforest along the Hana Highway. This is a private, customizable Tour .This tour includes pick up at your accommodations in the Lahaina area, west side, of Maui. See beautiful tropical waterfalls, explore lava tube caves, enjoy the black sand beach and more. Our tours are completely private and exclusive. It's just your group and your guide in one of our fully licensed and insured tour vehicles. You have the option throughout the day to "stay and play" or move on to the next spot. You also get to choose where to have lunch. In that way, you get to customize the day to your interests and abilities. Unlike the "big box" tours, our guides are active guides. They will accompany you into the waterfalls if you want to swim, the caves, along the beaches etc. We teach the geology of the volcanic Islands themselves, the History of the Hawaiian People and the Flora and Fauna.

A beautifully landscaped privately owned Arboretum for the Botanist in the Family. Stroll through the gardens and read about the plants. This stop is optional. Kaumahina State Wayside Park

Pua'a Ka'a State Park

This state park has wonderful waterfalls for viewing or swimming and is a common restroom stop. This stop is optional. We don't have time to hit every stop on this list. You get to choose your stops from this list and we'll fit in as many as we can, time and conditions permitting.

Kaeleku Caverns

Explore the 18th largest Lava Tube in the World. Wonder at the incredible lava formations as you explore a 1000 year old lava tube. This stop is optional. Wai'anapanapa State Park

Hana

See the quaint little Hawaiian town of Hana. We usually eat lunch in Hana. You can bring your own food and put it in our ice chest or you can choose from one of the great options out in Hana town.

Koki Beach

Enjoy the mixed sand beach of white, red and black sand. This stop is optional. We don't have time to hit every stop on this list. You get to choose your stops from this list and we'll fit in as many as we can, time and conditions permitting.

Wailua Falls

A beautiful 90 foot waterfall that we can photograph and, if you're up to it, take a nice swim. This stop is optional. We don't have time to hit every stop on this list. You get to choose your stops from this list and we'll fit in as many as we can, time and conditions permitting.

Ohe'o Gulch

View the world famous Seven Sacred Pools of Ohe'o Gulch. We do not stop and enter the Park. This is a drive by photo op only. This is an optional stop. We won't have time to stop at every place on this list. You get to choose the stops that interest you and we will hit as many as we can (conditions permitting) in the time we have.

Palapala Ho'omau Church

This quaint little church, built in 1856, is the burial site of Charles Lindbergh. This stop is optional. We don't have time to hit every stop on this list. You get to choose your stops from this list and we'll fit in as many as we can, time and conditions permitting.

La Perouse Bay

View the most recent lava flows on Maui from the incredible vantage point above the flows. Take in the beauty of the neighboring islands from this awesome view point. This stop is optional. Kaupo

Amazing trip with incredible guide - Fiorella! She catered to our needs as first time visitors and managed a group of five from ages 19-79 with ease! Her stories and island knowledge with stay with us when we have to depart this magical place. Also her driving and care for those around her on the road was impressive. I was so comfortable. And as someone who does get car sick I did not at all with Fi in the drivers seat!

Outstanding day of incredible insight and amazing inside information on everything Maui and Hana. Fiorella was perhaps the most beautiful soul we encountered during our trip. This was no Point with wishes of good luck and hope you enjoy your sightseeing. Fi personally showed and described exactly what best to see and made sure we all safely made to each destination by leading us there personally. We were extraordinarily grateful that she was our guide for the day and felt like she was a friend at the end of the day.

We did the Road to Hana private tour as well as a private ridge hike with Fiorella, and she was amazing! "Fi" was very knowledgeable of the island and gave us a personal experience that was very different than a typical group tour. We really enjoyed seeing some incredibly beautiful and less traveled sights on Maui, and really connected with our fun loving guide. Bryan was great to work with as well and the communication prior to the tours was excellent. I highly recommend Maui's Private Guide - the best guides on Maui! Mahalo, Fi and Bryan!
