What To Expect

Old Faithful

Here we will watch the world renowned Old Faithful eruption! We also visit historic lodges in the area and explore many of the other hydrothermal features in the area!

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

We will view the dramatic scenery in this rugged canyon and watch the entire Yellowstone River plummet over the 100 foot upper falls and 308 foot lower falls!

Norris Geyser Basin

We can visit this active geyser area and enjoy a peaceful walk around the boardwalk network here.

Yellowstone Lake

Yellowstone Lake is the largest high altitude lake in North America and provides great options for relaxing and picnicking during the tour!

Hayden Valley

Hayden Valley is one of the major grazing ranges for bison, elk and other animals in Yellowstone. Spending time here will rewards us with views of America's megafauna!

West Thumb Geyser Basin

Walking around this geyser basin is very special! Witness active hot springs and geysers from the boardwalk just feet away from the shores of Yellowstone Lake!

Todd took our party of four through the west entrance southern loop on 7/21/22. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Todd took the time to answer the many questions our teens had and was a wealth of knowledge. His vehicle was very clean and comfortable and the lunch he provided was excellent. We will defiantly be back again using Todd for another excursion.

Our family (parents/two adult sons) did the full day tour with Todd in early August. We were all very happy with the tour. Todd was not only very personable but very knowledgeable of the history of the park, the flora and fauna, the thermal features as well as providing fun tidbits of information regarding a wide variety of Yellowstone trivia. We were able to see some of the wildlife of the park as well as some absolutely beautiful scenery. He was very respectful of the park itself; respectful and careful to demonstrate his respect of the park to his clients and other visitors. He also provided a great lunch in one of the most peaceful, beautiful spots we visited. We would absolutely recommend Todd and Roam Yellowstone for any tours of the area and would make him our first choice of guides when we return.
