My fiancé and I were in Joshua Tree over the holidays and wanted to try rock climbing for the first time. There are a few climbing guides in JT, but we are so happy we found Stone Adventures. Our guide Aron was so patient and helpful - he taught us climbing, belay, and different techniques. We really enjoyed the climbing and the 4 hours flew by. After climbing with Aron, we feel way more confident in our skills and will definitely climb with Stone Adventures again when we return to Joshua Tree.

I had an amazing painting and climbing experience in Joshua Tree with my guide Justin. It was something I'd always dreamed of doing. Being a first timer in Joshua Tree, it was very beneficial to have a guide who knew the park so well, and was also an artist. He worked with my climbing level and got me to push myself, and learn new skills and technique. At the end of each climb we did landscape and still life paintings in water color (from the top of a cliff overlooking the entire park). He gave just the right amount of attentiveness while still allowing me to have space to create. I'll definitely be doing this again! I highly recommend this for any experienced artist looking for a great escape and opportunity to bask in the beauty of their natural surroundings.
