Took my teenage grandkids on this coaster .. my first time experiencing a mountain coaster, and we all three had fun .. we even went back for the night time ride, at a slightly discounted price .. they have a party at night, and that was fun! Having been my first time on a mountain coaster, I thought it was enjoyable, and the stops/slow downs were not an issue for me .. the staff was friendly and I would highly recommend!

This alpine coaster is a great activity for the whole family to experience!! The kids (5yr/9yr) each sat with us and enjoyed the ride up and down. I would definitely recommend going at night for more fun lighting and we actually were able to see the first part of the Dollywood fireworks show while on the coaster. Now if you choose to go at night you may also incur a pretty lengthy wait. We waited for roughly an hour but honestly the time flew by since they had music blasting and the kids loved dancing/singing to it. We also had some great coupons to use from the event we attended while down there or you can find coupons online/ad books. Prices were pretty reasonable and it was half price if you wanted a second time. Now my kids absolutely loved the coaster and voted it one of the best activities of the whole trip. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it because of our kids' reactions but we were slightly underwhelmed because you go up and down 4 different times. You really didn't get enough speed/distance to really feel what a really alpine coaster is like (ex. Germany). My daughter had even mentioned that the down rides felt short. Overall though a great family fun activity!!

Line had TV’s and music playing while you waited. Line moved quickly. Fans all over to keep the air moving in the heat. Ride was smooth and pretty fast at times. Themed appropriately. Ride also lasted longer than expected which is a good thing! Highly recommended!
