We stopped Here on our first day in Tennessee it was awesome. A little thrill with beautiful scenery. We found definitely come again 😊

We went in the afternoon and our entire family Road around 3 PM. we had a great time. We rode the mountain coaster in the afternoon around 3 o’clock and all four of us really enjoyed it. On the way out, we saw that if you returned the same day, you could ride again for half price. Since the kids also wanted to do it at night, we decided to go after dinner. Just the kids rode this time. The line was long but within about 40 minutes they were to the second row from the front. We figured we’d be in and out in one hour. There were two times that there were significant delays, both of which happened when our kids were only two rows from getting on. This extended our time there to two hours when we should’ve been done in one hour. No one was making announcements as to what was going on. People in line were getting angry. People waiting for their families off to the side were getting angry. While waiting for my kids, I saw they started taking some of the cars off the track and putting them into a little storage closet. People were getting in line to get refunds because it was taking so ridiculously long. And with no announcement, they were just not willing to wait. I personally saw one woman go up to ask what was going on and the lady inside of the glass window put her hand up to the window and said “we’re working on it”. That hand gesture is very rude. I then saw another gentleman walk up to get his money back and when he tried to ask a question, the adult male behind the window put his finger up. When he finally listened to the man’s question, the man had asked why there was no announcement being made and they were talking about not having a PA system. Well what the heck, they were blasting music for two hours so they either also have a PA system that they didn’t want to use or if they can blast the music, they should pay to have a PA system installed as well for these important announcements. My kids said something about people saying that riders were getting scared upon the mountain and pulling the braking system and needing to be “rescued” because they refused to finish the ride. I guess that is the inherent flaw to the ride, there is rider control while riding the coaster and that is a major problem.

A great fun coaster, not like the coasters at Dollywood but fun just the same. Every time we come to PF we bring the grandson to Rocky Top. Takes about 9-10 minutes and it’s slot of speed in some of the areas, the thing is you control the breaking action with the hand levers on the side. I recommend getting there at 10am when they open because they get busy quickly. I recommend to do the night run also, all lit up like Christmas.
