We tried this coaster in the summer, and really enjoyed it. Our last trip (last week) we made sure to go back, and it was really nice to ride down and see the different leaves changing colors. It's right up the road from Dollywood and is a nice activity if you're coming/going around Dollywood. My five year old loves it, and I like that he can sit in the coaster with me. My wife even joined us and she is not a fan of coasters, so that tells you it's not a bad ride for those that don't like roller coasters. Yes it goes up the mountain, but you're not very high off the ground, and I think she liked that she could still seem close to the ground. In my opinion, it's well worth the price, and they give you a discount if you ride again. While we didn't do it, there's a haunted coaster ride at night, and it looked like it would be fun. We will probably make this a consistent stop when we're over there.

We have ridden multiple mountain coasters in the area, and this one is - by far - my least favorite. We were excited to ride it given the ratings and the length, but we were very disappointed. The ride is so choppy - you get pulled up for a ways and then have a small period of time to ride down before you are stopped and pulled up again. I much prefer the ones that get you to the top and give you an uninterrupted ride to the end. On top of all of that - it was a 45 minute wait. There are several on Wears Valley Road that are much better, much more fun (and I expect more actual “fun” ride time) with shorter lines!

We took 3 kids to ride and they had a BLAST! Going back for the live actors haunted track. They chattered for an hour or more telling all the little details.
