Our Scenic Float on the Rogue River is a scenic, casual, relaxing affair. There are small class I & II riffles and rapids along the way. The Rogue River Scenic Float is where we use our large, comfortable, excursion rafts with padded seats and backrests on this mellow but beautiful and secluded piece of the famous Rogue River.

We take our lunch at The Discovery Park. This park is a boat-in only park on the Rogue River and will be a favorite for families!

You will have the option to purchase lunch/snacks, beverage of your choice, and play in the private park. Food options to accommodate everyone's taste; Vegan & GF to meat lovers will be available from The Discovery Park food truck. Snack foods, ice cream and a large assortment of non-alcoholic & alcoholic options are available!

The two of us did the 3-hour express trip in the afternoon (no lunch or snack) last week. We reserved our trip over the phone (thanks, Dakota!) and when we went to check in we were a bit surprised to see that their store was very conveniently in the center of downtown (we expected it to be near the river). It was about a 20-minute ride to the river, but we didn't mind because we got to see parts of Ashland we wouldn't have seen otherwise and our two guides (Nate and ??? (sorry, I forget)) kept us entertained during the drive. The trip itself was wonderful - the guides were helpful, friendly, and professional. Even though we thought the river might be too low because of the drought, there were enough small rapids to get us wet and excited. Overall, it was a great way to spend and afternoon in 100-degree weather!!

Thank you Dakota, Ryan and Jenna (sorry I think I misspelling your name). We had a great time with our family on the scenic float. Snacks were fresh and delicious. The boat was clean (van was dirty though with leftover drinks from the group before). Service was great. This is one of the only companies that will allow a 3 year old and he loved it. Yes we didn’t get to do huge waves, but it was totally worth it! I wish it was a little cheaper, but this is market rate. .:)

This was fantastic! As a novice, this was the perfect pace for me. A nice float along the river with a couple of mini rapids at the end. It is beautiful and peaceful along the river. Zhenda and Nate were the two guides and they were both awesome! I was on Zhenda’s boat. She was great! They were both very knowledgeable and passionate about the river and the surrounding area. At the midway point, we had a very impressive snack. They set up a shade tent, chairs and a table for the snacks which included watermelon, hummus, crackers, veggies, salsa and chips, and water with lemonade packets to add to the water! I would highly recommend this!
