What To Expect
1
Royal Gorge Bridge and Park
Look down into the breathtaking Royal Gorge as this tour takes you over America’s highest suspension bridge nearly 1000 feet above the Arkansas River. Exclusive access through the south entrance to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park and to the top of Fremont Peak allow you to see and experience true Colorado beauty.
2
Skyline Drive
Skyline Drive is a scenic roadway in Cañon City, Colorado. It was built by inmate labor in 1905.[1] The road starts from U.S. Highway 50, with a gradual incline up the side of a ridge. When the road crests, it winds, climbs, and falls like a roller coaster until near its end, where a scenic outlook overlooks both the city (east) and the highway (west). The single-lane, one-way road rises about 800 feet above the surrounding terrain. There are no guardrails despite sharp drop offs, and the drive is about 3 miles long.
3
Temple Canyon Park
Temple Canyon road winds over the Royal Gorge anticline through the ancient hunting grounds of the Ute tribe. The canyon road passes "The Temple" but you have to know where to look. Fossils can be seen along the road with other geological wonders.

We did the morning tour and I’m so glad we did because it was so nice and cool. We dressed in layers and that worked perfectly. Tom was our guide and he was great!! He answered all our questions and told us so many things that I vaguely recall from all those history classes back in high school. He has a lovely sense of humor and so jovial! And, he can drive a Jeep! It was a wild ride to say the least and he had no trouble whatsoever, and we felt completely safe at all times! The views were spectacular! You won’t get the pics we got from the bottom of the mountain and he has access to roads that aren’t available to the public. Take this tour, you won’t be sorry and it’s well worth the money. We bought combo tickets and rode the train afterwards and it was a lot of fun! We got up close to the Arkansas River and watched the rafters ride the river. Very cool! We received free tickets to the Royal Gorge Park and there we walked the bridge which was totally amazing and rode the gondolas. There was no crowd at all so we had nearly the whole park to ourselves!! This has been the best vacation EVER!! Don’t miss Colorado Jeep Tours!! Thanks guys, we had a blast!!

Awesome to hear... on all counts! We couldn't ask for a nicer and more detailed review to showcase what we try to do every day - help visitors have a great time. Tom is an exceptional guide who consistently receives rave reviews. I'm happy to hear you had fun with him. Please do come back and see us the next time you are in the area. Thank you for your very kind 5-star review!

This was an interesting Jeep tour rough some rugged country. The tour guide gave an interesting tour of the old cemetery and I learned some Civil War History in the process. The views from atop Royal Gorge are breathtaking. My only wish is that we had been given enough time to walk down to the bridge after going such a long way to get there. Being on the bridge is the highlight of the experience.

Thanks so much for jeeping with us! I'm guessing that perhaps you didn't book directly with us via our website, as we provide our guests with complimentary admission tickets to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park to use after the Royal Gorge jeep tour. That way you have an opportunity to spend as much time as you'd like at the bridge after the jeep tour is over. (I'm sorry, I can't tell who you are from your screen name.) If you booked via a 3rd party site, partner or tour agency, you would not have received the free bridge tickets. In any case, I'm truly sorry that you missed out on this opportunity. Hopefully you can come back to see us (and the bridge) the next time you visit the area. Thank you for your business, and your review.
