Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
Dress for the weather. We recommend swim suits, shorts or synthetic clothing. Avoid cotton.
Secure footwear such as sport sandals are ideal. Although we provide river gear free of charge.
Minimum age is 13 years of age (16) during high water.
Not recommended for participants with heart complications or other serious medical conditions

Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours

Join us on the world-renowned half day Royal Gorge trip. The Royal Gorge Region of Colorado is a rugged wonderland of scenic hills, plunging canyons, and swift moving water. Formed over millions of years as the Arkansas River cut into the rising granite of the Colorado Plateau, the steep canyon is more than 1,200ft deep and, in some locations, less than 50 ft. Wide. The broken, mountainous landscape makes it an ideal location for adventure seekers looking for new ways to challenge themselves in the amazing outdoors. The class III, IV, (V) whitewater of the Royal Gorge features many exciting rapids such as Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, and the Narrows, just to name a few.

Royal Gorge is just simply the best. Our church has brought our youth group here for the past three years and we don’t plan on going anywhere else. Allen made our rafting adventure the raddest yet. Bonus points for making my heart sparkle.

This was a first time rafting trip and it was very fun! The water was a little low so instead of rushing, high water we had to steer our boat through the rocks so we didn't hit them. The water still moved pretty quickly so it was fun. Our guide said the best time to go is in June. Our guide was fine - seemed to get a little angry with us when we didn't do exactly what he wanted us to do. Luckily though - no one fell out and the boat didn't tip!!

Heard about this trip while on a different tour and had to try it out. It was a blast! Our guide Gabby was fantastic! We had quite an adventure on the river. The Royal Gorge rafting and zipline staff were wonderful. The facilities were really nice, get there early or stay after and you can enjoy a meal or maybe some sand volleyball. I highly recommend this adventure!
