Ruby's Horseback Adventures Utah 1.5 Hour Ride

Overview
Rides are available for all ages and skill levels from beginner to expert. Our horseback tours wind through some of the most beautiful scenery that southern Utah has to offer. Come explore trails taken by old west outlaws and enjoy a rare chance to see remnants of ancient Native Americans. Some trails are more rugged than others so for safety reasons we require that children must be at least 7 years old to participate.

We had a good ride. We saw some deer and we were amazed at the views we saw in the valley. You won't be disappointed.

The staff and ride at Ruby's was excellent. However, one of the Riders had her saddle slide off to the side during the ride. This didn't happen to me, but it tells something about safety. She could have been very hurt but was not thankfully. I don't think they offered her a free ride although if it had been me I would not have paid for mine. It would have also been nice when we were at the canyon to stop the horses and allow for photos. The guides could take photos of couples on their horses, for instance. Instead, we just kept riding past and people tried to take pictures as they were going. Just a few tweaks and this could be a five star place.

I wanted to like this a lot more than I did..... admittedly upfront it was a cold rain the entire trail ride (early September) however the guide that came out with us literally fell off her horse before we ever left the corral.....šŸ˜³ that did not give me tons of confidence in her abilities to give us a good experience. We left a little after 830am, returned at 945am, and I think she may have said 10 words to us the entire ride. No local history, no points of interest, no opportunity to stop and take photos. Again I am willing to account for the rain but I really do not feel as if I received the experience I expected, weather withstanding. Kind of a bummer.....
