Sunset Sail Salem
Set Sail aboard the historic and brilliantly maintained classic North Shore sailing schooner yacht! Experience a sail on Salem sound as it would have been in the early 1900's in classic yacht comfort. The majority of our sails are 2hrs and yes we do actually go sailing! Once the sails are set, we open our craft beverage bar, with cocktails, beer, wine, cider and weekly drink specials. Bar is available until 30 minutes prior to docking, cash and credit cards accepted.
Boarding is at our 10 Blaney St. Salem, MA 01970 location.
There is parking on the pier but please arrive early on busy summer days to ensure a parking spot. The vessel is located next to the Salem ferry building and boarding begins 15 mins. prior to departure.

So this was amazing! The ship its self was originally owned by general Patton, yeah that general Patton. The history behind the ship is amazing by itself, but her crew make the experience absolutely amazing!
They are incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and do their best to include you in the experience. For example I was asked if I would like to help host the main sail when we got underway.( I did of course!) they also offer free refreshments as well as a full bar.
The tour we took was a two hour sunset Cruise through the historic Salem harbor, and it was honestly one of the biggest highlights of our trip!!

Perfect way to see the sunset in Salem, with plenty of time afterward to eat and have a drink back in town. Ship crew was fantastic, views were amazing, and it was really fun to get to know some of our fellow passengers. It was not very windy on our cruise so had to use the motor a lot, but that meant a very comfortable sail. Highly recommend!
