Saint Petersburg Eco Segway Tour

Overview

Spend a a few hours in Florida’s amazing nature on this fun, scenic and educational Segway tour. Following your small group and knowledgeable tour guide through downtown Saint Petersburg Historic District. Discover the area’s diverse nature and wildlife as you cruise along the palm tree-lined Tampa Bay seawall to view manatees and dolphins in their natural habitat. Then we will walk through 4 acres of Sunken Gardens, which is an exotic botanical garden that houses 50,000 tropical plants and flowers, flamingos, macaws, parrots and koi-filled ponds. Along the way, you’ll learn about local ecosystems from your tour guide through your personal headset receiver while taking in the views along this 12 mile Segway Eco Tour.

Tour includes admission into Sunken Gardens ($12 value), tour guide, Segway i2, helmet, headset receiver, bottle of water and 20 minutes of hands on training prior to the tour.

This is a must do!! Doo was an amazing guide. She was so informative, helpful, patient and pleasant. She took the time to make sure we felt comfortable operating the Segway and made sure we saw everything The sunken gardens was wonderful and she really made it interesting with her knowledge of the history and plants. St Pete’s pier was a great place to visit with free trans and buses We’d definitely do this again

I had never been on a Segway and she put the group at ease instructing us on their use. She was very knowledgeable about St. Petersburg and everything in the Sunken Garden. This was as great way to see more of city! Louisa (Doo) was delightful!

Fantastic tour! Louisa was marvelous describing the many sights on the trip—the harbor area, old northeast district, and the arboretum were noteworthy. Knowledge and interesting facts about the wildlife is neat and impressive. The sunken gardens was very special. We felt safe and well-taken care of the entire time. So appreciated her time and expertise.
