Overview

Learn about the many birds, mammals and butterflies living at the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in Saint Petersburg Florida, on a 2-hour bike tour. An expert guide will help you pick out a mountain bike and then bring you along on an informative and fascinating journey through the preserve. You will be guided through 3 miles and view 5 ecosystems! You’ll enjoy the calming natural surroundings, beautiful flowers, trees and Lake Maggiore, which is home to many American Alligators, turtles, fish and a vast array of birds! An extra bonus is the bird of prey aviary where you will see a Bald Eagle, hawks, vultures and a variety of owls.

Tour includes admission into the Preserve, mountain bike, helmet, bottle of water, tour guide. Please specify your heights.

This was my husband and I second time doing this tour. Although we had a great time previously with our other Tour Guides, I have to say Louisa by far was definitely the.best! She was so knowledgeable and fun. We learn even more about that diverse eco systems on our second tour. Really enjoyable tour if your looking to do something different away from the water. Highly recommended.

Very interesting tour of a special wild place in St. Pete. The different habitats were very interesting. Our guide, Louisa was very knowledgeable about where we could see otters, alligators, many different birds, etc. She also went out of her way to make sure we were able to schedule a tour while we were in town after our first scheduled tour got rained out.

We had an amazing time! We learned a lot. Jackie and Buck are knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. We saw so many sights - a mama alligator with her babies, a turtle laying eggs, egrets, owls, etc. Definitely put this tour on your to-do list when you visit this area!!
