Join your local guide for a fascinating trip back in history as they share the story of Salem’s founding in 1626 by Puritans whose search for religious freedom ultimately ended in a wave of fear, suspicion, and anger that gripped Salem for one fateful year. Your tour will include stops at some of Salem’s most popular locations, and some secluded off-the-beaten-path locations that very few tourists get to experience. Along the way, your guide, an experienced storyteller, will recount details of the witchcraft hysteria & Salem’s unique dark history.

Maria was fantastic. She was informative about history, lore, architecture, and ghostly stories. She 100% made our trip to Salem well worth it. Maria knew the best sports not only on the tour but after for yummy treats and drinks. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great tour of Salem, to hear the history of the Witch Trials, and just enjoy a local.

Amazing tour! I learned so much about Salem that I hadn’t known before and was shown some really fascinating spots. The tour guide was excellent and engaging. She even showed us some awesome local spots to eat.
