Maria was wonderful. She explained history and lore in a way that was engaging and entertaining, and explained context as well as sharing facts. She also gave us tips on where to go the next day, and she was spot-on with all of them. Highly recommended for a first night to get an overview of the attractions.

This was our first trip to Salem and THIS TOUR was a wonderful highlight for us. Maria is a fantastic tour guide, a marvelous story teller and has a very impressive knowledge of Salem. From beginning to end she made the tour incredibly personal. My favorite parts were the small details she shared with us and when she took us though a few less touristy places like the back property of the Rope's Mansion and Federal Street. Her entire tour is lead with such a passion for the history of Salem. We loved our experience so much we're already planning a future trip. I highly recommend Secrets of Salem tours!

When deciding which tour to book I had a really good feeling about booking the tour that Secrets of Salem was offering. I am SO glad I went with my gut feeling because I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Maria was super cool and knowledgeable about many things regarding Salem. I learned all about the witch trials, architecture, trade and also where to shop and eat delicious food. She told cool and interesting stories, the tour was laid back and enjoyable plus I got a lot out of it. The way that Maria related all the information about the sites that we saw was very captivating. She also gave me resources where I could learn more about Salem and the witch trials. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking your walking tour with Secrets of Salem!
