The tour itself was fun but I was expecting a little more from our guide David. He seemed to be about facts (which was important of course) but didnā€™t engage much with our group. His enthusiasm levels seemed low but he had good historical stories to share. Iā€™ve read reviews of other guides adding to the experience in their energy and/or costume but both were lacking from David. He was nice and pointed out some great areas of the town and folklores which is to be expected. But there were many missed moments of humor/engagement on his part. It was still a festive experience however.

I went this weekend (9/10/22) for my sister's bachelorette party and this was by far the best ghost tour I've been on in Salem. Devyn was very friendly, knowledgeable and was there to answer any questions we had. Since it was only my party that was with her, it was a very intimate tour where we could hear everything she was saying and could ask the questions we had. The other tours I've been on are so over the top, animated and scripted. I loved how Devyn was real and not showy and I will 150% recommend this particular tour to everyone I know who has plans to visit Salem.
