The trip was very organized and our leader was obviously very knowledgeable in the subject. I appreciated that the tour was not too large. However I felt like the stops were a little too long and we could have seen more sites and that a lot of the verbal content was repeated several times. It would have been nice to have been able to go into some of the houses and sites we visited and learned a little bit more.

Hello Leasa, Thank you for the great review! We're glad to hear you had a wonderful time with us! We wish we could go inside places as well, most of the homes are owned by historical society's or have been transformed into homes for people. That is why we spend more time at each outside spot.

Donā€™t bother! Boring!! Weird tour guide. Too big of groups. You can see far more on your own. 1/2 the group disappeared 20 minutes into the tour! You donā€™t actually see any landmarks. Just the ā€œspotā€ where history took place.

We keep our tour groups to 35-40 people while other companies go 50 or more. This makes it easier to get to the locations and gives ample time for people to catch the group before the guide starts talking. All of our guides use microphones so they are very loud. The crowds start coming to Salem in mid September. A weekend in October can be witness to 100,000 people a day and you need to prepare for that The trials were 330 years ago and the buildings are gone. The Witch House is the home of Judge Corwin. It's called the witch house because of his ties to the witch trials. We know the site of the executions, but nobody knows what tree was used to hang the witches. Nobody knows if the tree still exists. And the debate rages as to whether they used a tree for the first hanging and then built a gallows. We know the locations of many of the events. Every tour in Salem has the same issue, but at least our tour shows pictures we've found from old books of people's homes and locations where events happened that are too far to walk. We walk about a mile because many locations were centered in the downtown area.

Good tour. Lots and lots of historical facts about the Salem and the infamous witch trials. Our guide was nice and you could hear him well. The tour is outside with no stops within any of the sights. Itā€™s a good introduction to the town.

Hello and Thank you for the fantastic review! We're so pleased to hear you had a great time with us! As for going inside no tour in Salem does that. We do stop at various sites and locations that have relevance to the Witch Trials.
