Tours depart at 4pm. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your tour. Check in at Salem Historical Tours Office at 8 Central Street, Salem, MA.
Please be advised that the state of Massachusetts and the City of Salem are requiring masks to enter business establishments. You will not be able to enter our business without a mask or face covering. Until further notice, a mask or face covering will be required on tours since we will not be able to stay six feet away from each other. Salem Historical Tours LLC reserves the right to deny service to anyone refusing to wear a mask or face covering. This requirement is subject to change based on orders by the state and the city.

We use an amplifier so you can social distance. Masks are not required outdoors but are optional. Effective Aug. 23, Salem is requiring that masks must be worn indoors whether you are vaccinated or not. You'll only need to come into our office to pick up your tickets and/or to peruse our gift shop.

What To Expect

Haunted Footsteps & Salem Historical Tours

Examine the demographics, theories and personal stories comprising the dire events of 1692. We will bring you to many of the locations that are full of witch trial history. Many of the structures are long since gone except for a few, but we know where they were located. This is a fascinating tour that will shed new light on what happened during the infamous witchcraft hysteria which turned neighbor against neighbor.

Salem Witch Trials Memorial

Dedicated in 1992, this bench style memorial is in remembrance for the 20 innocent victims of the 1692 Salem Witchcraft Trials.

Witch House

The only remaining Salem structure with direct ties to the witch trials of 1692.

We were so board we ditched the tour and left early. Our guide was difficult to hear seemed to just be going through the motions. There was nothing novel, unique or interesting. The first stop he stood in forever and we were even looking at anything. At one point he stood next to another tour guide who was way more interesting to listen to. Throughout the day we walked past several different tours/guides. Each of them held our attention enough to listen in and overhear a bit- but not this one. It was super boring and the guide was terrible. Don’t waste your money with this group, pick a different tour!

Mark was a great guide - very informative and interesting. Certainly didn’t have any issues with the tour operators - location was easy to find and the confirmation email clearly states 24 hours notice is required to cancel.

We had Christine for our tour. She was very engaging, theatrical, humorous and welcoming. This tour focuses on historical accuracy, but she did a great job providing her own commentary to the stories she told. It wasn't too long, we didn't have to walk very far, all in all it was great!
