Tours depart at 4pm. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your tour. Check in at Salem Historical Tours Office at 8 Central Street, Salem, MA.
Please be advised that the state of Massachusetts and the City of Salem are requiring masks to enter business establishments. You will not be able to enter our business without a mask or face covering. Until further notice, a mask or face covering will be required on tours since we will not be able to stay six feet away from each other. Salem Historical Tours LLC reserves the right to deny service to anyone refusing to wear a mask or face covering. This requirement is subject to change based on orders by the state and the city.

We use an amplifier so you can social distance. Masks are not required outdoors but are optional. Effective Aug. 23, Salem is requiring that masks must be worn indoors whether you are vaccinated or not. You'll only need to come into our office to pick up your tickets and/or to peruse our gift shop.

What To Expect

Haunted Footsteps & Salem Historical Tours

Examine the demographics, theories and personal stories comprising the dire events of 1692. We will bring you to many of the locations that are full of witch trial history. Many of the structures are long since gone except for a few, but we know where they were located. This is a fascinating tour that will shed new light on what happened during the infamous witchcraft hysteria which turned neighbor against neighbor.

Salem Witch Trials Memorial

Dedicated in 1992, this bench style memorial is in remembrance for the 20 innocent victims of the 1692 Salem Witchcraft Trials.

Witch House

The only remaining Salem structure with direct ties to the witch trials of 1692.

This was a very fun walking tour of some sites associated with the witch hysteria and an overview of the history. Our guide was very engaging and very knowledgable and really explained the facts (and cleared up some myths) about those terrible times of religious lunacy given government power. Important warnings for today...

We looked for the location for hours ….missed our tour ! No address… no phone number … no way to get in touch ! When we asked the locals we finally found it … wrought iron door was locked … not tourist friendly unless they change their way of communicating with the customer

We are right downtown on the pedestrian walkway. Every guest gets a confirmation email from us and our address is at the top of the confirm. Our phone number is on there as well. You can also call Trip Advisor customer service. Tens of thousands of people find us without issue. We don't have a wrought iron door. You might have asked a local who had no idea and sent you elsewhere. We've been in Salem for 25 years. This is not how we treat our guests.
