The tour was just okay. We didn't learn anything new. The guide kind of rambled on and didn't seem to want to be there. At the end he asked "hey, would you mind giving me a tip?" We have gone on a lot of tours and always give one, but it was the first time we were ever asked to give one. We ended up giving him less than we would have because he asked.

Too bad you feel that way because this tour constantly gets great reviews. We go to different historical sites; some are around today and others are not. We use pictures to bring the 1692 Witchcraft Trials to life again. As for the tipping, all our guides are instructed that tips are at the guests discretion. You may have heard the guide say "Tips are appreciated but not expected"

This tour was wonderful and our guide Christine was amazing! We were actually late for the tour that we signed up for but she went above and beyond to make sure we got a wonderful experience, right down to helping us find where we parked our vehicle after the tour! She was VERY knowledgeable about the history of the witch trials of 1692!!! Highly recommend this tour!!!

The guide gave Wonderful information throughout the tour. But the tour needs to include a walk through the cemetery, walk around the stone benches representing the lives lost. Our stops along the tour were in parking lots Disappointing

The 1692 Salem Witchcraft Walk does not enter the cemetery because none of the victims of the Witch Trials are buried there. We do go to the Witchcraft Memorial but it is a public area so we as a group usually stand a few feet away so everyone can view the memorial. We use pictures to bring back locations of Salem in 1692 that aren't around today.
