Very disappointed. First experience with Trip Advisor did not go through. I went to vendor website to buy tickets. Tour guide was not helpful with locations, gave his own opinion too much. He also sat down in spots and as a paying ā€œwalking tourā€ consumer a bit off putting. It was nice to know dog could go with us. Didnā€™t learn much.

The tour involves an introduction about what happened in 1692. We go to the locations where the Sheriff lived, the town meeting house, the homes of Judges Hathorne (Lappin Park) and Corwin (Witch House), Bridget Bishop's House and the site of the pressing of Giles Corey. Our tour is packed with information. You have to try hard to be disappointed and not learn much. There are some locations where people can sit or stand. You have an option. Walking Tours are not 100% walking.

Seeing the house that had a body buried in the basement , also knowing that President George Washington slept there. The guide Giovanni was extremely knowledgable.

Thank you so much. George slept everywhere, didn't he? You got the owner giving you a tour. He's the best.

Although the guide seemed to try his best there really werenā€™t many interesting facts. Most interesting was the stone benches with names and dates of the hanging.

There's a few other sites we may go to as well. The guides have the option on which of the sites they want to go to and discuss. The memorial has been there since 1992. There were houses there before it. It is humbling to go there, but not that old.
