Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the witch trials. He moved the tour along at a good pace and kept our interest in the subject. I would have rated this as 5 stars, but the tour guide had some poor habits. He would walk ahead of the group while talking. Unless you were up close to him, you had no chance of hearing him. When he did stop to talk, he would start talking immediately, without waiting for the whole group to catch up, even if they were waiting to cross the street. We noticed other tour groups with amplified sound. Given the loudness of the traffic, this should be the norm. Because the guide was often hard to hear, at least 3 of the people on the tour dropped out. It was too bad because other than this issue, the guide knew his stuff.

Thank you for the review. Our guides are very knowledgeable and the best in the city. Our guides usually bring amplifiers but, in this case, the guide probably thought it wasn't needed for a smaller group. Sometimes the city is peaceful, but other times it can seem incredibly noisy. Going forward, we will make sure all guides bring the amplifier so they have it just in case. And we will also make sure the guide waits until everyone can hear. Thank You.
