It was pouring rain and our guide could not pronounce any of the deceased names correctly. There was no re-schedule, and they told us it would be hard to get a refund. For $90 for two people, our tour was just bad.

The company is a fake! Signed up and paid for a tour in Salem. Meeting spot was a gift shop. Owner said that people have been showing up all weekend regarding the tour and it doesn’t exist! Called the number on the “confirmation ticket” and it’s a recording selling windows and doors! Confirmation email came from Salem Tours. Talked to some locals who knew about the scam. Unfortunately it was too late for me…

Halloween is a busy time of year in Salem. Shannon seemed good at navigating and giving a good tour despite all the noise and distractions. We did have an incident with a gentleman passing out, and I got the impression that the guides are not trained for emergencies. Other than that, this was a good experience
