Our guides do make sure that all guests get to experience the USS Arizona, but on some days we have to use the standby line to make that happen.

The tour was well done. It is an excellent way to see at least the USS Arizona Memorial, which is was the most important thing for my wife and me to see. We were picked up at a convenient location, and had a pleasant ride on the tour bus to and from the site. There was excellent communication from Chelsie, our tour guide, prior to and during the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

We really didn’t see the advantage of the tour, other than it was transportation to and from Pearl Harbor. A round trip cab ride would have been about the same cost, and we wouldn’t have had to walk a block to meet a bus. When we arrived, we had to wait in line for over an hour for ferry tickets to take us to the memorial. That wasted time meant we didn’t have enough time to spend in the museum with the self guided tour. A big disappointment. To make matters worse, it rained on the return trip and we were repeatedly sprayed with water because the bus had no windows. The tour bus driver was a very nice young man, but he took forever to tell a story and referred to the passengers as “you guys” over thirty times on the return trip alone. We would have been better off driving our rental car and paying to park. Don’t waste your money!

Communication from the tour company could improve. There was a parade and our pick up spot changed. We had very little notification about this change. Then we drove around “historic sites?” for 2 hours. I didn’t see anything historic rather saw and smelled garbage, dilapidated buildings, and graffiti. Then there were no tickets to the Arizona and we still had to pay for entrance to the museums. Don’t waste your money just get an Uber to Pearl Harbor!
