We were picked up by a double decker tour shuttle and the driver was really cool. He was funny and knowledgeable of the pearl Harbor history. When we got there we had to pay to store our bags which I wish we were told before hand , I would taken a tiny bag or no bag at all. Once inside yo can I only go to the museums and if you want to go to submarine you pay extra. You are given a time to line up to take the ferry boat to the Arizona memorial and that was amazing. Over the little ones were over it noticed other kids crying and totally bored.

Tour guide was excellent good knowledge of history of Pearl harbour & very personable. Pointed out all the monuments, local attractions etc… We were a bit confused on pick up location but I called customer service number they answered phone right away was very helpful. Would do this tour again

Felt a bit scammed. We arrived at the airport in Honolulu and told the tour company we would meet them at the park as we had a rental. I received a text that we could not enter the park unless by guided tour/on a bus. Silly me. We drove 20 minutes out of our way to pay for parking and then wait for the tour bus to pick us up. Then a 50 minute drive to the park. Tour guide acted like we had to line up in single file to get in the park, like we had some special entry that was included. Come to find out we could have just gone to the park and walked in for free. Wasted much time and basically a bus pick up with a person who adds color on the way.

I can understand why you were unhappy with having to get picked up and for having to line up in a single file line. These are rules and policies put in place by Pearl Harbor, not our company. They have strict policies to ensure the safety of everyone. Even though lining up seems a bit juvenile, it is so the park rangers can have eyes on every single person as they come in. Not being able to meet at Pearl Harbor is also another strict policy. You would also miss some of the best commentary and stories along the way. I apologize that your tour was not what you expected. I hope the rest of your stay in Hawaii was a beautiful one. Mahalo for your review.
