What To Expect

USS Arizona Memorial
**Admission cannot be guaranteed Pearl Harbor is currently operating their boat shuttles in a modified and limited capacity due to dock damages. Under normal circumstances we do secure the tickets and reservation times for all of our tours, however, with the current situation we try our best to secure what we can daily. Our guides do make sure that all guests get to experience the USS Arizona, but on some days we have to use the standby line to make that happen.

We booked 1/2 day tour of Pearl Harbour, which included the Arizona Memorial site. We were a party of 7. We Waited in a line for over 2 and 1/2 hours to see the. Arizona but had to withdraw as the return bus was leaving. There wasn’t enough time to see anything. Very disappointing, if we knew this in advance we wouldn’t have gone. We only got the text the day before to suggest there maybe long lines to see the Arizona.

We are so incredibly sorry for the unsatisfactory experience you had and that you missed seeing the memorial up close. We understand that it is important for many of our guests to be able to have that experience. It is concerning that you were notified only one day prior to your tour. We have been trying to contact all our guests to notify them of the ticket shortage 3-5 days prior to their tours so that they may choose to change their plans or decide to carry on with the tour. I would like to hear from you, if you don’t mind emailing me at [email protected] and let me know about the communication you received. It would be a great help to our current operations. Mahalo for this review.

We had an Awesome Bus Driver Juice. He new his stuff and gave some great stories, at the site you could feel how sacred that area is and the stories there were deep and poingnent. They really let know how important and solemn that area is.

Didn’t even get to visit due to a total cock up of pick up points. 2 different locations given by Viator & the tour operators. Tour operator says driver called to see where I was..phone rang twice and o didn’t even get chance to take it out of my pocket…called them back IMMEDIATELY…6 times in fact…and each time my call was ignored. We’ve travelled over 7000 miles to be here and we have one full day left so, due to the limited number of visitors currently been allowed on the Arizona, we have no chance of rebooking (despite the very best efforts of our hotel concierge). The tour operator contacted me via text later in the day but were less than helpful in trying to find a solution. This was the 1st time I’ve used Viator and I can honestly say, itl be my last…Expedia can’t be beaten obviously!!!

I absolutely agree with you, this is a horrible situation. It can be so frustrating receiving conflicting information like that, and I assure you, I will be investigating this to find out why there was different information coming from us and Viator. The ticket shortage is creating so many new issues we must overcome but we understand that is no excuse. We are so sorry for your negative experience with us. Please accept our sincerest apology and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your time on this beautiful island.
